Giving to others can improve your self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-worth. You can be the light and hope in the lives of our elderly. Through your generous compassion, we will be able to attend to their needs and help them live a more comfortable life.
We accept donations of all kinds. We can’t do this alone, and your support is vital to the success of our organization’s mission.
Please see our list of donation options:
Time
You can donate your time and talent. You help us run charity events or fundraising. You can use your expertise. You can donate your accounting services, your legal expertise, or even your crafting abilities. We will appreciate anything you can do.
Food
We take food donations for our seniors. We accept donations from stores, restaurants, cafeterias, and individuals with excess food to share. We receive non-perishable goods. You can also cook for our elders or send us meals. It’s up to you. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Clothing
Clean out your closets and donate the things you don’t need anymore. You may have plenty of items in your closet that you’ll never wear again. Remove all those clutter and put it to good use by donating it with us.
Shoes
We also accept donations for shoes for our seniors. If you have shoes that may be new or gently worn, please donate them to us. It would be of great help to our elders. Your actions no matter how small they are can make a big difference in the lives of our seniors.
Old Electronics or Smart Phones
You can donate new or old electronics to us. Old phones can be recycled, so if you have one, please don’t stash it on the garbage. We accept older phones, tablets and e-readers, handheld gaming devices, smartwatches, and other electronic devices. We’ve partnered with cell phone refurbishing companies and recyclers as a way of generating funds and keep these electronics out of landfills. We make sure to check the donated phones to make sure the battery still works and then distributes them to our elderly members who need access to communication from first responders like police and medical professionals.
Real Property
Donating real estate to a charity can both promote your philanthropic goals and provide valuable tax deductions. You can talk first with your legal expert if you’re planning to donate real property. And if you’d like to proceed, this will be an honor for us and will greatly appreciate your gift.
